Submission accepted up to 90 days prior to effective date.
Reservation rights if the following minimum information is provided:
- Named Insured
- Effective Date
- Producer Name
- Producer Office
- Property Type
- Coverages Required
- Location Street Address
- City and State
- Commercial Square Footage
- Residential - Number of units
- Residential Square Footage
- Building Value
Requirements:
- Completed and signed application
Including:
Insured's or Broker's declaration of 5 year loss history
(hard copy loss runs required upon binding)
Prior term declarations page with expiring premium
Supplemental application specific for property type
Prior property inspection report
Bind Order Requests
Bind Order Requests from quoted accounts must be sent to bindrequest@comstarins.com
- Bind Order instructions are provided when the quote is delivered.
- All Bind Order Requests must be in writing and cannot be accepted via voicemail or text. Coverage is not bound until acknowledgment is received from the Underwriter.

Applications
Applications are available for an approved Broker upon appointment through the assigned Underwriter or Marketing Representative.
ISO applications are also acceptable, but must be accompanied with ComStar's supplemental application.
An Excel spreadsheet may also be submitted for the Statement of Values (SOV) on a multiple location submission.
